It’s important to protect our skin from any harmful bacteria to avoid skin damage. Our skin plays most important role in our body it has a very capable barrier function  that supply  nutrients and has the ability to repair itself.

Keeping our skin healthy and beautiful is our main goal and our main priority. We all know that our skin needs our attention to protect it from damage.

Having a skin damage will cost us time, effort, and money. We ask assistance from dermatologist or use many product to avoid putting our skin at risk.

However , it’s better to have some knowledge so that we can protect our skin from damage and at the same time less money involve if we know how to maintain our skin healthy and shinny.

Ways to Protect our Skin from Damage

1.Protect yourself from the sun

The most ways to take care our skim is to protect it from the sun. It can increase the risk of skin cancer. The common use to protect our skin to the sun:

  • Use sunscreen with SPF 15 or above is better to protect the skin from UVA ray, UVB radiation and damage. Apply sunscreen every time you go outside to help prevent sunburn and premature aging.
  • Wear shades or sunglasses to protect our eyes to direct sunlight. It is important to wear sunglasses to maintain good eye health. The sun’s UV radiation can cause our eye from damage.
  • Wear clothes that can protect our skin to damage. Like long-sleeved shirts and long pants. Dark color clothes is more effective to protect our skin from sunlight than light colors clothes.It is also useful and helpful to wear clothes that can protect from UV radiation and sunlight.
  • Wear a hat.  Wearing a hat can protect areas that are exposed to sun. Like eyes, nose, forehead and scalp. These can help for sporting and other outdoor activity.

2. Don’t Smoke

Smoking looks our skin duller and older. It add wrinkle and fine lines to our skin. Smoking can also damage collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin is the fiber that give the skin strength and elasticity. Smoking can cause premature aging.

Cigarette smoke contains of carbon monoxide, which displaces the oxygen of the skin. It has also contain nicotine that reduce blood flow. It can damage our vital organ such us lungs, heart, and brain.


Cigarette smoking Calso lessen the increase of nutrients like vitamin C that helps and repair skin damage. Smoking is not good for the body and to the skin.

Best way to protect our skin is to stop smoking or never try to smoke.

3. Eat healthy and diet food

Eat healthy food that’s gives nutrients to the body and help to maintain good health, feel good and energy. Foods that are low fats and processed or refined carbohydrates, rich with vitamin C and contains antioxidant might provide younger looking skin.

Healthy living can benefits our physical, mental, and emotional health. Eating balance food can also help the skin to stay firm and healthy. It avoid the skin from damage.
