1. Cleansing

If you have oily skin, washing with a foaming or gel cleanser go well for you. In addition to that, go look for a cleanser that includes salicylic acid which is an anti-inflammatory agent and helps to eliminate dead skin cells.

If ever you are going to play any sports or going to have a PE class, wash your face if possible before you exercise. And for those teenagers who have dry instead of oily skin, a milky cleanser and moisturizer are highly recommended.

2. Hydrate/Moisturize

Using a moisturizer, you should moisturize your skin in the morning and evening. If you have oily skin, an emulsion is best for you to have enough hydration. In order to get hooked on moisturizing, it is recommended that you do it at the same time every day, such as after cleansing and after showering.

Having a time moisturizing your skin can make you have a softer, more elastic skin, and it will keep your skin hydrated.

3. Cream

Being a teenager, you have to treat skin conditions particularly acne, which appears when pores on the surface of the skin become blocked. This is because of oil glands that produce excess oil, and the dirt and bacteria that blocked your open pores.

Having a well maintained hydrated and moisturized skin is your protection to acne. Be informed to avoid harsh products that can make your skin too much dehydrated.

4. Sunscreen

Right after you cleanse your skin, you must protect it daily from the sun and other environmental factors. Use a sunscreen that contains mineral zinc oxide (minimum of 7%) that can provide max protection from UVA and UVB rays. If you think that if you use a high SPF sunscreen you are being protected from damaging UVA rays then you’re wrong. SPF only covers your protection from sunburn, which you get only from UVB rays.

Wearing clothes that cover your skin from sun’s peak ultraviolet rays ranging from 10 am up until 2 pm, can give you defense against premature aging and skin cancer.

How to properly remove your pimples

First and foremost, no matter how alluring it is, you should never pinch pimples. The pressure triggers the bacteria to enter the skin and cause inflammation. But when you don’t have an option, the best way to remove it is by placing a clean tissue or handkerchief between the skin and your fingertips and only apply gentle pressure. Cleanse the area of skin affected after that to lessen the possibility of infection and decrease the chance of more acne.

1. You should exfoliate your skin at least once a week.

Frequently use of face mask can result in a dehydrated skin so it is best to use it every 2-4 weeks. To use a face mask, wet your face with water and grab some mask onto your fingertips. Apply it evenly over your skin, and allow it to dry for 20-30 minutes. After that, use a warm water and a damp cloth to wipe the mask off your face.

3. You should use pore cleansing strips to remove blackheads.

There are pore cleansing strips with adhesive tape on one side that you can buy at the market. You can stick the adhesive side onto your skin, and when you pull out the strip, it will take out blackheads that might have been existing. Pore strips are usually used on the nose and chin but can also be used on any part of the body that contains blackheads. There are some black liquid pore strips that you could also use. Wrapped it up by cleansing and moisturizing your face for best results.
